Bat Model Specifics                                ........improving your game with pro ash bats

All our bats are ~ -3 oz.  We do not sell blems, heavy or light bats.  All of which will not perform or hold up to repeated contact with a baseball.  Each bat style is developed from northern PA white ash with a weight or density that matches up with the volume of wood in the final product.  This means that each style bat starts from a different density of ash stock in order to reach the optimal weight of a wooden bat.  Aditionally, our moisture content is maintained at 10-12% for all bats.  All of our ash comes from the Northern PA ash forests is hand selected based on color, optimal weight, minimal grain count, and grain straightness.

mod 41 - 15/16" handle with a 2 1/2" barrel.  Slow taper transition to the handle focusing on bat balance. Similar to T141 H&B

mod 44 - 15/16" handle with a 2 1/2" barrel.  Med taper to the handle.  Thin or no flare handle with a thin knob.

mod 76 - 15/16" handle with a 2 1/2" barrel.  Fast transition taper to a flared handle, slightly top heavy bat.

mod 10 - 15/16" handle with a 2 1/2" barrel.  Med taper transition to handle.  Balance slightly to the barrel. Standard knob.  M110 H&B

mod 71 - 15/16" handle with a 2 1/2" barrel.  Med taper transition, balance shifts slightly to barrel with med fared knob. C271 H&B

mod 43 - 15/16" handle with  2 9/16" barrel.  Lrg barrel, fast trasition taper, standard knob. C243 H&B
